The EW4009 wireless solar energy monitor is a full feature wireless energy monitor specially for user who has installed or going to installed their Solar PV system.
Its depth of features not only allow to measure single phase and 3 phase supply but also measure how much energy is generated by your Solar PV system. The beauty of the product is that it finally give the net balance of your power generation and the power consumption. You are able to clearly aware whether you are drawing power from the grid or actually push power back to the grid.
Additionally dual tariff electricity rate can be entered to match the actual costs you have from your provider, on top of that, solar rate can also be entered to see how much money you actually sell back to your electricity provider.
A key feature is the ability to download both realtime and historical data onto PC via the supplied PC link cable.

?The products consists of 3 main parts, a display unit, 2 sensor clamps, and 2 transmitter units ( for Solar system and home system respectively). For Home system, the sensor is clipped around the main live cable between the electricity meter and the fuse box. For Solar system, the sensor is clipped around the cable comes out from the inverter. Data is then sent via the transmitter to the display unit.
The display unit will then show the data it receives in real time. You can easily input your current electricity price and your price for selling electricity from Solar PV system back to the grid, the monitor will then show how much you are spending, generating and the balance on an hourly, daily and monthly basis. It is also possible to input two prices if you use off peak supply prices.

The monitor is supplied wiht a single sensor for single phase supply. It is possible to obtain additional sensors and connect then to the transmitter so you can monitor three phase supply.
The unit can store up to 2 years worth of data. This ?data can be downloaded onto a PC either directly via a hyperlink terminal in windows, or via some simple software which you can download.?
